On July 9, 2017, a new "World Guinness Record" was set in Almansa for the fanfare played by the largest number of trumpeters arranged in a line. The fanfare, composed for the occasion by Spanish composer Bernardo Adam Ferrero, was performed at the Almansa athletics track, under the baton of Martín Baeza-Rubio, played by 146 trumpeters who were part of the "Ensemble de trompetas del Festival Internacional de Música de Almansa". The previous record (105 trumpet players) was held by the United Kingdom. The duration of the fanfare was 3 minutes and 42 seconds (over 2 minutes and a half longer than the previous record).
